Upgrade to Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt-get install update-manager-core

sudo vi /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades

Press I on your keyboard, then change the value of the Prompt to ‘normal’, then press the Esc key.  To save the file, type this: colon, w, q (:wq).

sudo do-release-upgrade -d

Type ‘Y’ to continue with the upgrade.

You may have to restart your computer.
